I love @JohnPiper but abortion is not merely one of many equally relevant factors in this coming election. To equate @POTUS' sins with the societally acceptable wholesale slaughter of the single most innocent little lambs that this world has to offer is straight up bull.
Addressing @JohnPiper article, the notion that all sins are equal is simply not biblical. Within God's laws, some sins called for banishment, others called for death (cf. Num 35:16 v Dt 19:18-19). Jesus Himself specifically spoke of the WEIGHTIER matters of God's law (Mat 23:23).
Jesus specifically highlighted sins against children as worse than others (Mat 18:6). Jesus said that in hell, there will be varying degrees of punishment (Luke 12:47-48). If all sin was equal, this would simply not be the case.
The mere assertion that Trump's pride is as equally egregious nationally as putting our stamp of approval on outright murdering the embodiment of innocence is purely asinine.
It is quite possible to vote for Trump while disapproving of things like his childish and arrogant behavior. Christians are not all unthinking one-dimensional simpletons. Attempts to float above everyone else, presenting detached passivity as being more spiritual is just lame.
I'm not sure how aware a baby is at birth, but I think they have a certain primal assumption that their mother is going to care for them. Pretty confident they don't expect to be cut into pieces and thrown into the garbage while Christian pastors empower those who celebrate this.
Has @POTUS behavior empowered others to imitate him? Has his behavior affected American culture in a toxic way? Probably, yes. Did various OT kings "sin and cause Israel to sin"? Yes.

Ironically, however, most of these passages refer to causing Israel to kill their children.
