Many girls in my community had to go to the Builpela dam every weekend to wash the clothes of they and their families. Sometimes when the water situation was bad we would walk at least a mile to fetch water.
Most of us didn't have access to proper sanitation facilities which made us more susceptible to contracting diseases & reduced our quality of life

This was the reality of many of us in Tamale, one of Ghana's biggest cities. Imagine the reality of people who lived in rural areas.
Privileged Ghanaians need to tone it down with the Ghanaians have it better. You have it better does not mean everyone has/had it better.

Hold your leaders to account so that marginalized Ghanaians can live dignified lives. Do better!
