Twitch's DMCA no hold bars approach is happening today in 7 hours. After 12pm today, Oct 23, any copyrighted music you play on stream that gets found will immediately result in a strike.

3 strikes = irrevocable ban.

This counts for clips and VODs.
How to protect yourself:

Delete all your VODs and clips that have copyrighted music. Download ones with sentimental value and get rid of all of them. DMCA can go back as far as your channel has been active.

Have alerts and bg music be only copyright free sounds.
You can be lazy and just take the risk of being permanently banned anytime between now and whenever a record label decides to do a sweep (spoiler alert, they're doing it frequently on Twitch now)

OR you can be proactive, protect your brand, your channel, and comply by adapting
