When the Tories talked about 'taking back control', they weren't joking. They certainly will be.

Let's look at a few of the sweeping powers they're granting themselves and rights they have taken away...
Agriculture Bill — New Clause 2

326 Tory MPs voted against requiring new international treaties on the import of agricultural & food products to ensure products imported into the UK under those arrangements comply with WTO safety rules and the UK's own standards.
European Union (Withdrawal Agreement) Bill — New Clause 6

339 Tory MPs voted not to require parliamentary approval of the UK's objectives for negotiations on the future relationship between the UK and the EU.
European Union (Withdrawal Agreement) Bill — New Clause 2

336 Tory MPs voted against maintaining workers' rights derived from the EU and against continuing to give workers at least the same level of protection as provided within the union even after the UK's withdrawal
Parliamentary Constituencies Bill — New Clause 2

(Let's call it the 'potential future election fiddling bill')

338 Tory MPs voted not to set minimum numbers of Parliamentary constituencies for each of Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Parliamentary Constituencies Bill — New Clause 2

339 Tory MPs voted not to require Parliamentary approval for changes to the boundaries of Parliamentary constituencies.
Trade Bill — New Clause 4 — Parliamentary Approval of Trade Agreements

323 Tory MPs voted not to require Parliamentary approval of negotiating objectives for free trade deals and of free trade deals themselves.
Trade Bill — New Clause 17 — International Trade Agreements

330 Tory MPs voted against ensuring international trade agreements protect the NHS, the wider health and care sector and those working in the public sector.
UK Internal Market Bill — New Clause 1

342 Tory MPs voted NOT to require those exercising public functions in relation to the implementation of the UK's withdrawal from the EU to respect domestic and international law, and NOT to require them to act in good faith.
UK Internal Market Bill — Clause 45

344 Tory MPs voted to empower ministers to breach international agreements and other domestic law when making regulations on trade in goods between Northern Ireland and GB.

324 Tory MPs voted not to restrict the power of ministers to spend public money for a broad range of economic, cultural, sporting, educational and administrative purposes.
Covert Human Intelligence Sources Bill — Clause 1

(the bill is scary enough, in that it gives the gov't power to sanction criminal activity by security, however...)

314 Tory MPs voted down an amendment where victims of crimes authorised under this Bill can seek civil redress.
