I think a lot of these MPs don't understand poverty in Ethnic communities. Its not same as White brits who habe been here through generations and have had more opportunities to get it right. Most of us are children or grandchildren of immigrants. Our ppl came here to WORKWORKO

Or get an education for the most part. When we go without, its not usually because our parents spend the money in the pub or cigarettes.

This whole poverty = laziness attitude is not true. We come from some of the most hardworking households and sometines it takes a generation or two to reap the benefits of the hard work our parents did.

In mean time the extra support is needed and welcomed. Some of our kids are at risk of undoing the hard work their parents put in.
