I agree that not easy to understand how guilt (in some people fear) and anger related; they work around a pivot which is sexuality. That said, people who don’t understand such things should not spew nonsense.
Most people may not be able feel physical neurotic palpitations (because their sexuality has undergone organic repression) but at least they should be able to notice that their feelings are notoriously fickle—they feel one way at one time and then another way at another time.
I’m gonna leave this thread with one ?: Most people are neurotic & when they‘re engaging in neurotic behavior, what kinda thoughts are going through their mind? Is it being overprotective of an obj? Is it a fear that an obj might break? If the object is lost/stolen, what happens?
One more tweet: My favorite items were stolen about an year ago—BY THE PERSON I GAVE $1K TO BECAUSE I FELT BAD FOR HIM. I cried for a long time.
What happens when one loses/breaks something precious? It hurts, but a lot of people will get over it. But there are those who will be very hurt & they may do something stupid. This discrepancy does not make sense until you realize that the precious object represents a penis ...
... & the unconscious wish for castration was always there. This is why some people (specially neurotics) go out of their way to take care of an object. Week ago I told y’all about a fam member who collects musical instrument, but cannot play anything. He likes to keep them safe.
I don’t wanna make long threads, but there is one important eg I want to include in this thread. Remember, a few weeks ago, I told y’all about my only bus trip in India—I was getting off the bus & accidentally knocked down a book a man was holding & he chased me for a few meters.
