1. When the protest started, I went into full Pol. Science graduate mode & spent days reading about the Hong Kong Protests, the BLM & the Yellow Vests movement in France. I also read other case studies like the Tiananmen Square Protests (and the massacre that followed).

2. Learnings from those research was what made me start tweeting on the need to diversify our #EndSARS tactics. (My followers can attest to this).

I don’t think it’s too late. We can still hit the streets (preferably in batches and small pockets around major cities

3. without any theatrics) and then adopt other strategies. We need stubborn and outspoken reps, we need to occupy some key government infrastructures and we also need to be able to burn tires and unleash our fire spitting dragon at a moment’s notice.

4. For our movement to be sustainable, it has to be a multi - pronged approach.

People have died, become permanently disfigured & lost their means of livelihood for this cause, and it’d be nothing short of cowardice to throw in the towel now, cuz of an empty 10 minutes speech.
