Also, talking about ca without instantly defending your favs should be normalized, we all know what happened with bp and mocking culture (dont remember what it was called) if your not part of the culture please don’t sit around defending them...
And it’s honestly annoying to be called and “anti” once your respectfully hold them accountable....blinks...others fandoms in general please stop excusing your favs problematic issues, sure it might be hard to except but trust me, you’ll be better :)
As a black girl, I’ve grown used to seeing my culture be shown in a bad way or just other groups mocking us, but that doesn’t mean if you favs said something hurtful to my culture that I wouldn’t call them out, there’s no excuse for idols to act in that manner...(see next tweet)
towards the black community ITS FUCKING 2020! You have no reason not to be educated on different cultures, I’ve been privileged to grow up around different cultures and races and learn more about them, but as we know a lot of others do in different parts of the world
I’m not going to speak for every Korean but from what I seen Koreans born in South Korea (and north) aren’t really educated on different cultures or to the point that actually care to treat them with respect, I can’t change how a whole country is but I just hope they can learn :)
Groups like oh my girl, g-idle, exo, and even Blackpink have done ignorant things, leave to the actually communities to decide how they feel about the incident, if you not I feel like you should automatically stand by and support them
Doubt this thread will blow up but if your seeing, please make sure to do your research and make sure to treat every race, culture, religion, sexual orientation, etc with respect no matter what they do please remember, everyone is human and has feelings 🙃
