i think we need to talk more about how there is no safe way to bind. you can buy top of the line binders, you can take it off at night, but that doesn’t change the fact that you’re crushing your chest to the point there’s a high possibility of long-term lung and/or rib damage.
“but my mental health depends on wearing a binder” and you think that’s a healthy coping mechanism? harming your body instead?

you don’t think it’s going to make your dysphoria worse by encouraging disassociation from a part of your body?
you don’t think that wearing a binder everyday is going to cause you to be hyper aware of your chest on the days you don’t/can’t bind, thus making your dysphoria worse?
