No man betuna... why do people know so little about STD/STIs...

Yenza iworry lonto because that means people are engaging in various ways of having sex without understanding the risks or how to handle various situations...
Sooooo many men carry HPV which is usually assymptomatic in men... it can also remain dormant in their systems for so long...

Yet, for women HPV is the main cause of cervical cancer...

That is why women have to do a pap smear every year.. it is THAT COMMON
Another one, HSV-2; commonly known as Herpies..one of the most prevalent viral STIs globally.

The infection in women in SA is even up to 70%

Condomising reducing the risk but doesn’t absolve all risk either...
Relationships have also been identified exist between HSV, BV & HIV
The issue is not that many, many people live and carry STIs...

The issue is how ignorant we all are and happily so.

In SA we like be in denial about these factors because we would rather act like they don’t exist than learn about them so we can prevent or live with them.
Stigma is stupid really; we all engage in sex but we stigmatize the very things we are more likely than not; have been in contact with and even probably carry- from a probability perspective kengoku

Just get to learn about sex. Not just how to do it but risks & management also
