you will find that the woman's vagina is exposed to her sexual partners semen for extended periods of time. Hence exposing her to his STD's for longer and giving her a greater chance of contracting his ailments.
In contrast the male genitalia only expose the urethra to his(cont)

sexual partner and as a result he will have a lesser likelihood to contract any ailments from his female partner.
