POINTERS ON PARLADE'S GRAVE THREATS ON OUR PROGRESSIVE GROUPS:

1. GABRIELA, alongside other progressive groups (e.g. Anakbayan, LFS, etc.), are NOT fronts of the CPP-NPA. Duly registered ang mga organizations na ito, kaya nga nakakatakbo sa loob ng Kongreso. (1/n)

2. Progressive groups are also NOT TERRORIST groups. The reason why AFP is desperately persistent to tag us as terrorists is for them to weaponize their Terror Law in silencing dissent amongst Left-leaning and national democratic groups.

3. CPP-NPA are also (2/n)

NOT TERRORIST groups. They are revolutionaries, with a clear set of aspirations for the people, who recognize the armed struggle as the way to national liberation.

This is why they are open for peace negotiations, which Duterte turned his back on and even hijacked. (3/n)

4. Revolutions are not bad. The Philippines has witnessed people's uprisings time and time again. Duterte and his AFP, of course, are scared, as the enemy of the revolution is them.

5. The NTF-ELCAC, which Parlade is a spokes to, is responsible for these threats towards (4/n)

Liza, Catriona, and Angel. They must be IMMEADIATELY DEFUNDED and EFFECTIVELY ABOLISHED as these acts of red-tagging has exposed the inutility and stupidity of this organization that we spend our taxes on.

In essence, it shows that national democratic mass organizations and people's partylists do not owe anyone an explanation.

accountable to the murder of Jo Lapira, a woman warrior?

2. Where are the PROOF to these baseless accusations, which now gravely endanger not only progressives but even Liza, Catriona, and Angel?

3. Is this where intelligence funds are spent on? On red-tagging activists and...

killing revolutionaries in the countryside, therefore proving that the AFP is an organized mercenary group funded by us, the very people that they kill?

Parlade has made up baseless rhetoric in an attempt to take them away from accountability on crimes against our people!
