Why is rooftop industrial parking not a bigger thing in NYC? Seems like a good way to get vehicles off sidewalks and out of bike lanes and fulfill tenants’ desires for parking. Rents for industrial parking can be up to $12 psf, which you’d think would pay for the structural work

A lack of parking is a serious hindrance to running an industrial business in NYC. Rooftop parking seems like a simple solution to that, and to the issue of safety for workers. This would seem like a good issue for industrial retention advocates to tackle @MIBAnyc @EvergreenEx
