One of the biggest mistakes in church culture is too often people decide Saints who point out practices which cause marginalized church members pain are “enemies,” when in reality they are just deep believers desperately trying to make church healthier for their loved ones
I strongly feel real “enemies of faith” are not people, but actions which marginalize & harm others

I think the worst “enemy of faith” Saints encounter is disregarding our baptismal covenant to mourn, comfort & heal the suffering. We disregard it when we refuse to humbly listen.
Remember—it's a lie that the Church will be "destroyed" if we face our racism, ableism, misogyny & queerphobia

We stand nothing to lose by honestly grappling w/ the way we have harmed the marginalized

We stand everything to gain by making our Church a safe place for all:

Zion.
