I am so tired of his party weaponizing increasing suicide rates while continuing to push policies that actually contribute to suicide risk and not properly allocating resources for suicide prevention.

Concerned about suicide? Maybe stop trying to repeal marriage equality.

Concerned about suicide? Maybe provide financial support to people experiencing financial difficulties and unemployment as a result of your dismal pandemic response.

Concerned about suicide? ALLOCATE MORE FUNDING FOR SUICIDE PREVENTION RESEARCH AND IMPLEMENTATION

Concerned about suicide? Address institutional racism.

Concerned about suicide? Push for a *livable* minimum wage and affordable housing.

Concerned about suicide? Make access to healthcare easier.

Concerned about suicide? Institute common sense gun policy.

Concerned about suicide? Stop your blatant othering of certain communities of people in this country which can contribute to perceived burdensomeness and thwarted belongingness.

To clarify, suicide rates are not increasing as a result of the stay at home orders.
