Canada was bullish in support of the coup that deposed MÁS and its president Evo Morales. Encouraged by Chrystia Freeland, the media called Morales a tyrant, and celebrated his overthrow as a ‘return’ to democracy, defying logic and evidence. Canada has become a consistent supporter of far-right/fascist govts around the world (as in Honduras, Colombia, Brazil, India, Ukraine, etc).
