I don’t know who feels the same way. But it’s clear to us now that even from the #EndSARS movement, the government is scared of what we are capable of. And we need to make them scared even more.
From the President speech, we see that they really don’t care about our yearnings.
I think we need to start thinking of a bigger picture, a new NIGERIA, where political parties are formed based on ideologies rather than personal gains. We should be able to ‘agree to disagree’ on ideas rather than disagree on moralities.
To effectively see the change we need in this country can only be done through having the political power!
While we take this time to mourn the deaths of our fallen heroes, let’s also use this time to begin to organise a political party that has..
unquestionable morals. We all might have different ideologies on how or what policies should be implemented but we certainly have a common agreement that a government should provide the basic necessities required by the citizens of the country they govern.
Basic necessities like top security, adequate power supply, well equipped hospitals, motor-able roads, quality education, increase job creation, social welfare, respect for human right and the rule of law, e.t.c.
For now we should all look away from personal gain and focus on a collective gain. We just need to form one political party! I repeat one political party! so we can retire the already established ones and recycled leaders that have taken us nowhere.
This #EndSARS movement shouldn’t stop here. I don’t have much influence to start this discussion but I call on all those who has been very influential in this movement to begin to discuss on ways to establish a strong political party.
Dear @fkabudu @falzthebahdguy @AishaYesufu @Mochievous @iRuntown @feminist_co @SavvyRinu @mrmacaronii @UnclePamilerin and other influencers that have played a big part in this movement, kindly reason with me on this proposal. I believe it is a start of something great for us all.
