With three weeks left to go in student teaching, I have learned SO much this semester:

- First off: I LOVE being in the classroom. I love showing up in the morning, I love my students, it doesn’t even feel like a job.
- Student Attitudes reflect teacher attitudes. If we aren’t energetic and positive, how can we have that expectation for students.
- Being professional is important so that your students know who’s the adult in the room, but it’s even more important to be REAL with your students. They want to get to know you. It’s not that you have to be cool, just be real, be yourself.
-Blaming your students for not learning material or not doing work is a bad reflection on yourself, not the student. Set expectations and stick to those expectations! Also, some students work jobs from 4-10 at night, some students are homeless...
some students have severe depression, cut them some slack and work with them! Not against them!
