When I try to AirDrop to my 16-inch MacBook Pro, nothing happens (or so it would seem). Here's what happens:
- fans start going wild; sharingd uses 99.9% of CPU
- I cancel the AirDrop on my phone/iPad
- ~20 mins later I get a notification on macOS saying the AirDrop was canceled.
AirDrop worked perfectly, flawlessly, all the time, every time on my 15-inch Touch Bar MBP, so it's become an important part of my workflow. I need it to work on this MBP.
Booted in Recovery Mode and installed a new copy of macOS Catalina. AirDrop is working flawlessly now. I'll update this thread if it breaks again. https://twitter.com/mikahsargent/status/1319396578512154624
