Just because you love and care for someone that doesn't mean you should just ignore their wrongdoings. You educate them so that they don't do it again. Imagine caring more about someone's reputation over someone's identity and dignity
They aren't necessarily bad people. In fact, we don't know them well enough to determine whether they are bad or good (also the concept of being bad and good does not have a fixed standard lmao ksksks but that's way too deep to discuss now lol) but they did have wrong--
Actions. And even as children, we were easily taught that when we have done something wrong, we correct it. Honestly, it's just basic human decency.
If you know someone who has done something bad, but they are not aware then you tell them. You teach them so that they learn.
This is what we do children and adults shouldn't have to be taught, but considering one's society, it is systematic definitely for them and it is innate. It is better that we target the root of the issue which is how their society perceives other cultures, but at the same time--
We also target mishaps like these. This is helping eliminate the problem both inside and outside. It's like when you're sick, you try to eliminate the virus and you also attack the symptoms. This is our end goal. Always choose your humanity and moral decency over everything else
AND IF WE EDUCATE THEM ABOUT THESE THINGS, They have a big platform as well!!! So imagine them using that platform to educate. Isn't that sexy?? Jskskaks but for real though, nothing wrong with calling out your idols 😄
