But I want to amplify that pain

Like REALLY amplify it

Here's what you do

You need to point out challenges that they don't even know about

Maybe they think that sending personalized emails will net them 10% more meetings

Compared to non-personalized emails

Here's where you point out a few hidden challenges
"Have you heard of the new GDPR laws around sending unpersonalized emails? They are really cracking down."

"Did you see the new platforms like hey .com or Superhuman, that automatically sort unpersonalized from personalized emails?"
"Not sure about you but every day I'm seeing a new email sorting tool that takes away automated messages from people's inboxes"

"Wow - with all those unpersonalized emails aren't you worried about losing your email domain?"
Now that person is thinking - shit, GDPR is on my ass, my email domain is getting canceled, new tools are ruining my email strategy.

They can't think of a future in their current state without those negatives factors impacting them
Now offer your solution - ease their pain

Much easier to sell if you build up that negative future before showing your solution

Bonus: This helps you look like an industry expert
