i love how sounds good feels good and superbloom were released the same day 5 years apart. sgfg meant so much bc of how it shed light issues 5sos fans may have experienced and made them feel less alone; now superbloom is like a deeper version that's personal to ashton this time

they're obviously two very different albums but i love that they share that date because for many of us it's like we're getting another symbol of hope that was what we got out of sgfg just years later when many of us have "grown up" a considerable amount

it's a step in a very different, yet very similar direction for ashton because he has always cared so much about the world around him and superbloom is an album close to his heart that allows him to do exactly that while expressing his own thoughts on life
