Perpetrators can take many forms. Father, brother, lover. It can be anyone you know, trying to smother, shatter and destroy a person you love.

The form that’s the most deceitful of them all, is the form a perpetrator takes when they’re outside the house. The form they take when they’re in the presence of others: laughing, gentle, charming, careful. It’s dangerous, premeditated, and utterly pretentious.

Creating and painting this idyllic life to those outside the four walls called “home”. Perhaps... so if anything were to happen, no one would suspect a thing, and then they themselves would be a victim of grief and shock.

Don’t always believe the one side you may see.
