anyways, we all know now that kaeya is a "last hope" for someone, as said by his biological father (2/?)

here's the meaning of kaeya's surname, alberich, which i assume he got from his biological father.

"ruler of supernatural beings"
"name of the sorcerer king"

when his father was talking about kaeya being their "last hope", could it mean he's the heir to a throne? (4/?)

but the question is: what throne?

well, you know how "alberich" means "ruler of supernatural beings"?

another one of kaeya's talents is called "heart of the abyss."

the abyss order is an army of monsters- the "supernatural beings" in question.

the protagonist's twin is revealed to be the only (currently) known leader of the abyss order after being separated. but there's something odd. (6/?)

the twin is referred to as merely the prince/princess. they're not entirely in control of the abyss order yet.

so if that's the case...

maybe there's a king.

or in better words: the "heart of the abyss." (7/?)

i want to quote this again: "if khaenri'ah and mondstadt went to war, which side should he support?"

kaeya is the cavalry captain of the knights of favonius, but if he's also the king/heart of the abyss, then this line has a whole new meaning. (8/?)

which side *would* he support?

would he fulfill the "mission" his father left him, accepting the legacy of his bloodline as an alberich?

or would he defend the town of his adopted father who loved him and raised him as a ragvindr? (9/?)

is this why he goes by just "kaeya" now?

because he doesn't know *where* he'd stand?

could he be creating a new path for himself, taking his destiny into his own hands?
