If you look hard enough KonMari contains a template for almost every piece of internal work worth doing and that's what makes it magic

Once you start applying it to clothes you eventually learn the generalised tool and start turning your life around
Things I initially learned from KonMari that have cropped up elsewhere via twitter:
- Visualise your ideal life in day-to-day detail
- Spark Joy (~ recognise felt senses)
- don't keep things that don't spark joy even if you feel obliged to (~ non-coercion)
- paying physical attention to the clothes you're folding (~ flow ~ awareness ~ "rest in motion")
- touching things to wake them up before doing things with them (~ setting an intention ~ expanded awareness)
- thank literally everything (~ gratitude)
And most important of all:

- if something doesn't spark joy but you can't bear to throw it away that is an inner alignment problem and you can resolve it through re-framing and being patient with yourself and you'll feel loads better after you've decided one way or the other.
