If you look hard enough KonMari contains a template for almost every piece of internal work worth doing and that& #39;s what makes it magic

Once you start applying it to clothes you eventually learn the generalised tool and start turning your life around
Things I initially learned from KonMari that have cropped up elsewhere via twitter:
- Visualise your ideal life in day-to-day detail
- Spark Joy (~ recognise felt senses)
- don& #39;t keep things that don& #39;t spark joy even if you feel obliged to (~ non-coercion)
- paying physical attention to the clothes you& #39;re folding (~ flow ~ awareness ~ "rest in motion")
- touching things to wake them up before doing things with them (~ setting an intention ~ expanded awareness)
- thank literally everything (~ gratitude)
And most important of all:

- if something doesn& #39;t spark joy but you can& #39;t bear to throw it away that is an inner alignment problem and you can resolve it through re-framing and being patient with yourself and you& #39;ll feel loads better after you& #39;ve decided one way or the other.
