no but I have to say this. As a South indian who has learnt Bharatnatyam and Kathakali I literally didn't not find the attami (neck movements) along with the mudras offensive. They were in no way mocking the movements. please stop over analysing every single thing.
it sucks that half the people spreading this propaganda are ones that aren't even from South India. and don't even say it was an attempt at culture appropriation because if you think an outsider doing the dance of another country is offensive then let me clear this-
it's been happening for a long time. way before y'all on twt started over analysing every little thing. even though it isn't Kpop Michael Jackson for instance has done it numerous times and was in no way mocking the culture. please stop because it's sickening.
and I am not someone that brushes things under the rug. if they do something wrong, I call them out. as much as I love our boys, if they make mistakes they deserve to be educated about it and in this case I clearly don't see what's the issue.
rt this please to big fan accs so that they know about this. and no. if you haven't learnt the dances you can't talk about it idc even if you're a desi nctzen. And if you aren't an NCTzen STAY OUT OF THIS.
