I feel like there's something to be said about how upper middle class POC have a disturbing tendency to swallow and propagate white supremacist rhetoric out of a misguided belief that they've become a part of the in-group, and adapt it to fit their own cultural prejudices

Usually it comes in the form of supporting anti-immigration policies out of some deep-seated fear of a great replacement, and there'll be some element of deeply intertwined colourism

And unironically accepting whatever the ruling class puts out to protect its own interests, thinking that they've been good and become a part of some special club and been rewarded by a society that absolutely won't turn on them

Do what we say and get in on tormenting everyone else and perpetrating whatever cruelties you like against them, and maybe, just maybe, it won't be you one day for reasons you can't control. Sooner or later, you realise that everything's just an extension of schoolyard bullying.
