I will say that @SamSeder's questions were genuinely exciting to delve into becuase they got to the big picture of why the *politics of these offices* really matter, and the fundamental changes we've experienced in their salience & in the conventions of who's running why.

What was especially interesting -- to close this thread! -- was Sam's question on prosecution as an ideological project, bc understanding *that* aspect of what DAs are up to is just really helpful to understanding how Overton Window & the politics of this office have changed.
