Piling on w/some dude-to-due advice from me, your friendly neighborhood self-defense instructor.

Guys...we have an obligation to demonstrate awareness of those around us, and do our part to help make them feel safe. Easy suggestions:

Online, follow Chloe& #39;s advice. That& #39;s easy.

IRL, you can...
- Whatever your normal "follow distance" is, double it. Triple it if you& #39;re isolated.
- Take a different route, or cross to the other side of the street. You can spare the extra 15 seconds of travel time.

Or...

...don& #39;t follow at all! Cut a wide path, and move (far) in front of the person who might feel uncomfortable.

I& #39;m 6& #39;1"/225. I& #39;m highly trained. I feel safe pretty much everywhere.

Now flip that around...if you didn& #39;t know me, would you feel comfortable with me tailing you on the street? Or alone in a parking garage? Maybe not.

So, try and be a *little* mindful of your presence and your space. That little bit of effort can go a long way.
