Piper argued that arrogance and abortion are comparably (if not equally) deadly. I think we can denounce arrogance as ungodly without making an assumption that I believe to be totally unsupported by logic. Plus, what if you have TWO arrogant candidates & one supports abortion?

The conspicuousness of Trump’s pride doesn’t make it any more dangerous than Biden’s more politically correct pride. Piper talks about strife stirring as dangerous. I agree. I also see this most obviously in the Critical Theory/identitarianism that Leftism represents.

I’m not arguing that Christians shouldn’t criticize Trump. I think we should when called for. We don’t have to pretend all his behavior is Christ-like. But we’ve got 2 sinful, prideful candidates, & 1 also represents terrible, destructive, pro-abortion policies. That’s the choice
