They are mostly not on social media, and will probably not see this post; they may not even speak good english. But they are in large numbers, and desperate for immediate gains due to the deprivation they've experienced for so long...
These guys are the excuse the government gave for imposing curfews and unleashing violence. They are the people destroying and stealing; and the people weakening our voices...
They're the ones that will give their votes to the highest bidders in 2023, and help steal ballot boxes for 5k or even less...
The government has kept them ignoring and impoverished for a long time, and it's a strategy that works all the time...
They have the numbers, they have the passion, but they use it against Nigeria's development because of ignorance...
We must find a way to reach out to these people, and help them understand what we're fighting for, or else, these protests will only end in chaos for all of us...
If we all can make this our next move, we might gain some serious momentum in time for the polls, where the real battle lies...
I call on everyone to take 'offline influencing' as serious as ever. The oppressors don't do battle here, they do it with our weakest links.
