Bar Council of India: Bar exam postponed again, now in January 2021
Bar Council of India Indore (New World Representative). The examination conducted twice a year by the Bar Council of India once again deferred. The examination to be held in November will now be held in January.
Meanwhile, the lawyers have also demanded to conduct the exam online and make Indore an examination center.
Significantly, lawyers have to pass the examination to be held by the Bar Council of India in order to get permanent consideration. The examination was last held in September 2019, but it was canceled after complaints of irregularities and complaints of copying.
The exam could not be held in April 2020 because of Corona. It was then announced to be held in November 2020. Recently, the Bar Council canceled the examination schedule and fixed the exam date 24 January 2021.
Advocate Sunil Gupta, Executive Member of MP State Advocates Council and Amarsingh Rathore, Vice President of High Court Bar Association, have demanded that the examination be conducted online. If this is not done, then Indore should be made its center.
