[SHOP EXPERIENCE THREAD] ‼️

Hi! I'm sharing my experience about a shop I got to transact with previously. I decided not mention any names here but I'm doing this thread to raise awareness about shops like this and our rights as a buyer.

No hate, just facts. 🙃
If you got across the 550 LSF issue, this is it. I'll explain what happened in this thread.
Disclaimer: Some of you might have a different experience than me while transacting with this shop. If an admin of the shop is reading this thread, I hope you take this as a challenge in improving what needs to be improved.
I will be transparent of the order details and dates here for you to understand everything.

So I ordered an SVT JDT Uchiwa from their shop last April and got it paid 5 days after I ordered it.
The shop told us (costumers) that they will be collecting 3 batches of payment.

1st - for the item
2nd - for ISF
3rd - LSF

So yep, nakabayad na ako ng first payment for the item. It was June when they collected the second payment and after 3 months pa nun (Sept) ang 3rd payment
I started worry ng nag-3 months na pero wala paring updates from them. Hindi rin ako nagtatanong madalas kasi I was waiting for them to update us. Hindi naman kasi ako yung type na nagmamadali ng mga ino-order ko, considering na rin na may pandemic ngayon.
So finally, nag-update sila about the 3rd payment (LSF) this Sept, yes, 5 months after my order, I got excited at this point kasi feel ko malapit na siyang dumating. LSF na kasi babayaran ko. They told me na 300 ang babayaran for the LSF:

250 SF Lu to Vis
50 Packing Materials
Honestly, I'm not sure kung worth 250 ba talaga ang shipping ng isang Uchiwa from Luzon to Visayas (Antique) pero hindi na ko nagtanong 😂, hindi na rin ako nagtanong kung anong materials ba ang gagamitin nila sa packing. Basta nagbayad nalang ako kasi yun nga, excited na. 😂

So ayan na, nakapagbayad na ako ng LSF. So kumpleto na ang payment. Actually, binayaran ko agad yung LSF an hour or 2 aftr nila magpost about it kasi I thought, they will snd it the nxt day aftr I pay the LSF (like other shops) pero I became worried again 3 days na, wala pa rin.
So I asked them. Okay naman. Maayos naman ang response nila:
Friday (September 25) daw nila pina-ship ang order ko, so I was expecting that after 3-4 days andito na siya kasi yun ang estimated dlvry time from Manila to Antique but:
It was nice of them to inform me about it, pero nagtaka ako kasi bakit sa Abest nila pina-ship? J&T kasi ang MOD ko kasi sure ako na serviceable sila dito sa amin. That caused another delay.
Lumipas ang dalawang araw at yun nga wala silang update, so I messaged them again:
At this part they were responsive pa naman and also here is the explanation kung bakit sa Abest nila pina-ship yung order ko:
Here comes the 🍵 (?), after our last convo (Oct 1). Hindi na ako nagreply, kasi I told myself na hihintayin ko nalang. Hindi na ako nagtanong ng exact date kung kelan nila papa-ship ulit basta sabi ko I'll just wait. Pero after 4 days, wala pa ring update from them so:
As seen in our last convo, starting from October 5, I messaged them everyday to ask about the status of my order pero no response sila. At that point, medj kinabahan na ako. Di kaya na scam na ako? Sayang rin ang 880. I tried to DM them and even email them to check but no reply.
I was not sure kung nabasa nila yang email but October 7, I was already desperate so I gathered my courage and mentioned them in a tweet:
At yun nga to my convenience they replied to my DM, but to my suprise they qrted my tweet and reasoned out (?) Now, it felt like I have destroyed the reputation of their shop which was NEVER my intention:
At this point nakatanggap na ako ng mga DMs from people who also ordered frm the shop. Medyo nag worry na rin ako kase there were people who were seeking for help rin kasi their DMs are not replied as well, those who have orders not yet shipped and those orders with defect:
Yes, if you read the convo from that user, they are NOT responding to the DMs but they are posting more G.Os. That made me more worried. Everyday silang active, the reason why everyday rin ako nag-aask about updates. Pero no response sila for several days.
So some of you must be asking how I responded to their qrt of my tweet here you go (everything here was never discussed in our DMs, sa DMs namin parang wala lang nangyari), yes, they called me out on public because I called them out too. Quits nga naman.
Here's our convo that night after qrting my tweet, they again reasoned out why the shipping of my order was delayed:
After that October 7 convo, I never reached out to them for almost a week. And yes po after a week hindi pa rin po nashi-ship ang order ko 🙂, October 13 na ng nag-DM ako sa kanila:
Finally, this Sunday a good news came from them. I-iship na daw nila yung order ko. 🎉 But I was confused why the admin is asking me to pay the SF (again) when I already paid it:
I thought the admin just made a mistake, so I sent the copy of the ss of my final shipping form and my gcash receipt and to my suprise:
Yes confirmed po at that moment, pinapagbayad po nila ako ng 250 na 2ND LSF daw. Now, I know that this is something off. So I already asked help from my friends and other shop owners. Hindi ba nire-refund ng Abest ang parcels na pina-ship pag not serviceable sa kanila ang area?
Eto ang answer ng shop admin sa question ko about Abest and refunds: (At this point, nanginginig na ako sa inis + hangover, so nagkaka-typo na) + 250 rin yun ha pangkain na yun for one day:
"550 na po babayaran ko sa SF?" 🙂
A friend answered my query about Abest thru the help of a group of shop owners, sabi nila before ka daw pagbabayarin ni Abest ng shipping fee mine-make-sure daw nila na serviceable ang area by encoding the destination address into their database, so ano to?
But I still considered their reason, malay ko ba baka totoo talagang hindi sila ininform ni Abest na hindi sila serviceable sa Antique di ba? Pero sayang talaga ang 250, so para to sa 250: 😂
It took an hour for them to reply with all my arguments (baka hindi nila naintindihan masyado kasi madami akong typo kasi hinahangover pa ako nito 😂), I also researched more about courier refunds, and yes, they do refund.
I think kayo na ang humusga kung ano talaga ang totoong ganap dito as you read their reply:
So an hour before this reply from the shop I asked advised from my moots about this situation I was facing and told them that the shop is asking me to pay an extra 250 for the shipping when I fact I already paid 300 beforehand. Making it 550 for the LSF.
A moot tweeted about my situation and crowd-sourced opinions which I think was reached the admins of the shop. Most the comments told us that what I experience is already sketchy and that 550 for LSF is already too much. (I agree)
I'm already getting typos now but:
1. Always check the shop's feedbacks.
2. Ask for an EXACT date from the seller when transacting.
3. Don't let sellers manipulate you. You are costumer, YOU HAVE A RIGHT to demand from them.
4. Speak out if you find it abusive or unjust.
