Feminism is that women deserve respect like any other human being.
Feminism advocates EQUALITY. It basically demands an equally levelled ground in the society,where men women realise their rights and have equal access to opportunities. #SidharthShukla believes in gender equality

Feminism is not misandry!! it’s not about hating all men or saying that women are better than men. Feminists don’t want to control the world or put men down. Some ppl need to educate themselves about the basic difference of word FEMINISM AND PSEUDO-FEMINISM!!

Pseudo-feminism is saying women deserve more respect,or that people of other genders deserve no respect.

She shouldn't just like a man shouldn't. Women labeling themselves are feminist on social media wants empowerment and respect for women they think deserves it.Feminism is basically about equality and no judgment. People who actually understand feminism doesn't carry this badge!

People who wants their daughter to get good education, Who wants their daughter or sister or wife to be given same opportunities and privileges that they get! Anyone who believes in equality for all can be a Feminist that why i believe @sidharth_shukla is also a true feminist

However, the actual meaning of feminism has been misrepresented as misandry and female superiority. In fact, even most of the women do not know what feminism truly means, the most problematic of them being the privileged ones who misinterpret it and are vocal about it.

Many self-proclaimed “feminists”, especially on social media twitter insta go around unnecessarily disrespecting men, abusing them, claiming to be superior to men and doing things that are morally wrong for any human, expecting to get away with it under the pretext of Feminism.

This isn’t feminism. They are not demanding equality. They think of themselves as a superior race by undermining and insulting men. This is where you draw the line between FEMINISM and PSEUDO FEMINISM. You can see many examples of recent cases related to #SidharthShukla !!

In ancient times and even in rural areas women have faced many barriers, been discriminated and in some parts, have also faced religious persecution based on their gender. Women power and feminism are made for them not for a silly tasks in NTV or winning an argument over men!!

A pseudo feminist would bash a man for shaming/ abusing her and would call him sexist if he discriminates with them on any grounds. On the contrary, if a woman shames a man or abuses him, these same set of ppl would post saying on social media“YOU GO GIRL” “MORE POWER TO YOU!”

This is where Pseudo Feminism blends with Hypocrisy.Any kind of violence or discrimination are undoubtedly wrong.If it is wrong for men to do it, it is wrong for women all the same.This selective morality is not feminism. This thread was to educate some ppl who have misconception
