Background to the deal (signed in April): https://www.digitalhealth.net/2020/04/two-midlands-trusts-sign-deal-with-babylon-to-provide-covid-19-app/
Noting the Terms & Conditions you are *required* to sign up to, in order to use @babylonhealth's 'Ask A&E' service, as provided by @uhbtrust here...
https://uhb.babylonhealth.com/get-started/uhb/welcome
...state quite clearly that "none of our Services are for #emergency use":

The lawyers at @uhbtrust might also want to take a look at sections 16 Liability & 18 Enforcement of this Agreement in the T&Cs.
Who do they think will be held #liable when @babylonhealth's #chatbot kills someone by not 'recognising' critical symptoms? https://twitter.com/DrMurphy11/status/1197589723100917760?s=19

And then we have the #PrivacyPolicy:
https://uhb.babylonhealth.com/privacy
Which, as far as I can tell, is a cut'n'paste job that makes no mention of the "Ask A&E" service - something @uhbtrust must attend to, if it intends lawful compliance with #GDPR / #DPA18...

...and which begs further questions - presuming these conditions
apply - about (a) WHEN "explicit #consent" is sought for @babylonhealth to use your data to train its " #AI", (b) if such consent could EVER be considered valid in an #emergency situation, and (c) whether...

...all of the patients served by @uhbtrust & @RWT_NHS are aware that their data - including those parts of their medical records passed to @babylonhealth
- COULD be used in that way? (Which speaks again to #lawful, #fair and #transparent processing.)
