I don’t know why but I’m certain that someday, I will establish my practice in Dumaguete. I will most probably be retiring in Dumaguete also.

It will be a modest office, with just two personnel, and I’ll be doing litigation.

I’m a university professor at nighttime of course.
It will be a simple life, and I will probably be handling a lot of pro bono cases, but it’s the kind of life that you wish for when you’ve already experienced the world and what you want, at the end of the day, is peace of mind and silent contentment.

What a concept. 🙂
Then of course, my house would have a garden area, or parang patio area with a glass roof, where the sunlight or moonlight would enter, bathing my plants with beautiful sunlight/moonbeams. I can do my reading/s there on starry nights, or just listen to the stillness of the night.
Shet, did I just visualize my retirement?! 🥺

I can’t wait. The only lacking detail is, would I like to spend it with someone? That remains to be known. But I can live that life as a retiree, and I think that will be a really good life.
