[ 1 - PRODUCTION DESIGN - lighting design ]

ok so when u read the credits, there are a lot of assistant lighting and i realized that lighting is so important in the mv

@pledis_17 #SEVENTEEN #HOME_RUN
[1.1 - PRODUCTION DESIGN- lighting design]

in these parts, lighting became important because it gave emphasis on the one singing
[1.2 - PRODUCTION DESIGN- lighting design]

the lighting is so good bc it looks like the train is moving
[1.3 - PRODUCTION DESIGN- lighting design]

same with this part (looks like they’re moving)
[1.4 - PRODUCTION DESIGN- lighting design]

putting the light directly under the diamond helped with emphasis rather than just putting a brighter light above/around it
[1.5 - PRODUCTION DESIGN- lighting design]

i think this one was the coolest since they had to mimic the light emitted by the sign and the fireworks despite the green screen (look at the shadows)
[ 2 - CINEMATOGRAPHY - framing]

i rlly loved how they used the foreground, middleground, and background for these. idk it just directed my attention to him despite the chaos
[ 2.1 - CINEMATOGRAPHY - framing]

another example of the foreground, middleground, and background, which looks so good huhu
[ 3 - EDITING - reveal cut]

the sudden reveal from the transition matched the music so well ;-;
[4 - EDITING - tv glitch effect]

i just like how they utilize simple effects in the mv
[ 5 - EDITING - spinning newspaper effect]

idk it just reminds me of the superhero movies ( the incredibles is the first thing i thought of😂)
[ 6 - EDITING AND PRODUCTION DESIGN - sfx and cgi]

THE SET + COSTUMES LOOK SO GOOD I CANNOT

THE POST PROD TEAM = 🔥🔥🔥
conclusion:

the team really thought these through especially with more and more groups coming out with retro themed comebacks :>

i really like that they didn’t stick to just one style and it was reminiscent of noir, vintage, and neon (more or less hehe)
