we made it, adore you, and golden are connected & we’re close: here’s why;

the whole theme of adore you is that it’s dark & cloudy, the boy finds the fish & is enchanted w him (would walk through fire for him) but the fish needs to be set free before it can come back and love again.+

the lyrics (ex. “just let me adore you”) seem to fall in line w pretty much ignoring a lot of h’s obvious gestures & public advances during 1D days. they also fit w l’s lyrics of “should have never let you go” “i’m sorry that i hurt you darling”+

h would walk through fire for him, that’s how much he adored him+

but the fish (l) needs to be set free for a bit, he is freed into the water with the help of h. eerily similar to the man portraying l being w his lover, saying a final goodbye, and then jumping into the ocean in the wmi director’s cut.+

it’s also worth noting that there are people in the background WATCHING while the fish jumps. in wmi it they are people (MANAGEMENT!!) directly sent by (simon).
now i want you to also look at the fucking coastline here where L AND THE FISH JUMPED. the parallels are INSANE.+

the lover is left waiting.

the fish/l needed time.#
he was BROKEN.
“he is broken” “i’m hoping someday he could be open. i know that you’re scared because i’m so open.”+

adore you ends with this. the letters are GOLDEN. the story is going to continue. the boy is going to find his lover and find himself.+

it’s perpetually cloudy in eroda, but the sun is soon going to come and shine through when the story continues.+

wmi ends with l (i’m referring to him as l even though it’s just the guy playing him) resurfacing with a golden sky above him. l is shown grabbing $$ from a locker soon after this & reflecting on it. this represents him breaking free from syco & simon, & starting again.+

l literally prophecized part 1 of this story; he left syco, rose to #1 on the charts, got his money &success on his own after taking a huge plunge, like he LITERALLY did in the mv. he predicted this MONTHS before it happened. the video ends with him happy & reunited w his lover.+

part 1 came true, now part 2 is going to. he took the plunge, & a golden light starts to shine on simon. the camera cuts to his lover, waiting for him as he emerges from the water, the sky begins to erupt in gold.

we’ve seen pics of h shooting for golden on a car and on a boat. like he’s searching for something. he’s even searching the OCEAN for something he lost. & remember when h said, “the fish is traveling right now, but he’ll be back soon.” he’s gonna find the fish again.

they are reunited, freed, the sun literally shines between their lips.
“loving you is the antidote, golden.”

it’s also worth noting that in half of the video l’s lover has blonde hair, but in the end scene she has brown hair. there are two versions of his lover, but he’s only happy at the end with one of them. they are also literally wearing rings on their right hands (promise rings)

the eroda website just changed to say the lighthouse is “the perfect place to catch a golden sunset.” we made it ends with the two lovers walking off underneath a golden sunset, free at last.
