why saying not all men are trash is problematic, women are being oppressed, patriarchy still exists, a thread on feminism:

1.I get why you would think that all men aren’t trash because they didn’t do anything wrong directly but most of them are trash but the reason that “most men” wont work is that the ones that are trash will exclude themselves from the narrative pretend that they’re not (1/n)

“feminism” is necessary because women are being oppressed and they have been suffering. “men suffer as well” yes yes they do, I will not deny that but there’s nothing that men suffer from that women haven’t already been through. (6/n)

Feminism doesn’t mean we hate on men, it just means that we love women equally and we want gender equality. I think we it’s high time that we protest for women and im not saying this because im a woman but because it’s necessary.(n/n)
