It's #PurpleThursday #DomesticViolence is something that we all need to be aware of, especially for the children of those families. Every year at this time, I do a fundraiser to help our local Family Shelter. This year is different because of Covid.

I am not asking you to help my Cinderella Project, but I am asking you to find a local family shelter in your area and see if they need anything. The families usually leave their homes with nothing. They need help getting a fresh start. They need to know they are loved.

They need to know their life is important. They need to know they aren't being judged. They need to know they did nothing wrong. They need to know it's not the end, but a new beginning. They need a sign of hope. Please give that to them if you are able.
