If your organisation shared a Black Lives Matter solidarity statement, then you should be posting about #EndSARS and amplifying Nigerian voices. When you made a commitment to support BLM, you made a commitment to support Black lives globally.

The Nigerian government is trying to deny the killing of innocent protestors, it is important to speak out and spread information so that they are unable to do so.

We’re disappointed to see that many of the Arts organisations in Wales who announced their support of BLM...
on social media over the summer, are now quiet about #ENDSARS in Nigeria. Many organisations have exhibited Nigerian Artists or wanted to reach their local Black, including Nigerian communities, so why are you quiet now?
Black people are not a commodity.
Your silence only goes to show that care about Black Lives when you can extract cultural value from them and ‘put them on display’.
We’re aware many organisations - as they did in the summer - will say that they haven’t tweeted about #ENDSARS because staff are furloughed, or working from home. Yet, they’re continuing to tweet about upcoming projects, events, and money received from the Wales Cultural Fund.
Black People’s Lives matter all day, every day - not when it suits you or when you have the time or when it fits neatly into your working schedule

If you say you that Black Lives Matter, then ALL Black Lives should matter in ALL countries, in ALL contexts
What you can do:

*DO NOT* sign petitions for the UK government to impose sanctions on the Nigeran government. People have asked that you do not sign this petition, as this is likely to negatively affect Nigerian citizens the most.
*DO*

Write to your MP. @BlackBalladUK are calling on people in the UK to write to your MP and ‘Demand that the UK government stops any and all funding to the Nigerian Security Services and speaks out against the possible war crimes that we are witnessing.'
