1. For me yesterday was a deep point in UK politics:
• no physical proof of settled status for EU27
• UK citizens with EU spouses cannot automatically return to the UK with their spouse
• no #FreeSchoolMeals for the most vulnerable during holidays https://twitter.com/ColonelEscargot/status/1319205582029684736?s=19
2. The last if these 3 is the worst for me. How selfish do you have to be to vote to give yourself a 3.5% payrise, but vote against children living poverty (through no fault of their own) from having 1 guaranteed meal a day?
3. There is no argument for voting against extending #FreeSchoolMeals. If it's an economic issue, let's cap MPs expenses, not let them have their salary increase and tax big corporations properly.
4. How morally bereft do you need to be to have a career in politics these days? I know that I would choke on my turkey at Christmas, if I'd voted to let children go hungry on the same day. This isn't a BBC Dickensian drama, this is real life and real lives are being lost.
5. I'm disgusted with every single MP who voted to let children go hungry #ShameOnYou.

If the national finances are in a mess, effing sort it out or let someone competent do it. Starving people is not the way to balance the books. If you think it is, start with yourselves!
