My Hausa dad left us when I was a baby. He went in search of a greener pastures. This Yoruba angel took us in, made me who I am today. I owe that Yoruba woman my life. How will my mum take care of 3 girls?
Yoruba people insulted this woman that why will she help Hausas instead of yorubas. She said she's doing what God sent her. All her salaries went to our education.
My twin had a terrible accident 2003. This woman took it upon herself that my twin won't die. She got rejected in so many hospitals. This woman was rolling on the floor begging the doctors not to allow my twin die.
She said one day my dad will come back and she doesn't want to give him stories.
Ikeja general hospital later accepted her, she had internal bleeding and brain damage. And we were in need of plenty money.
This Yoruba woman just bought new rugs for her house. She returned the rugs immediately and collected the money. Twin was in coma for 18 days. This woman didn't stop praying. This woman is a Christian and a Yoruba woman. We're Hausas and Muslim. So fuck all you bigotry bastards
My twin woke up after 18 days. She couldn't talk for 8 months. She couldn't walk for a year. This Yoruba woman never got tired. At some point we needed assistance. Neighbors started saying she's using for twin for business. She still didn't stop.
My twin started learning how to walk. Physiotherapy sessions were expensive. We couldn't afford 3 times a week. She had this drug she was using back then, it was fucking expensive we couldn't continue.
This Yoruba woman is old now and I haven't even started repaying all she's done for me. My mum could have gone ahead to drop us with my father's family but she didn't. I'm sure I'll be a grandma by now.
Little things matters. That's why I've decided to help anyone in the little way I can. Junior is an Igbo boy I'm Hausa. If we can all look beyond that, I bet Nigeria will be a better place for us all to live in.
This is the Yoruba angel. Her name is Mrs Olufunmilayo Ajanaku. Pls bless this woman for me.
Chidozie Ajokuji is my Igbo brother who I've vowed to help. He's been in prison for 6 years for a crime he knows nothing about. I've been running around to get funds for him. He'll be going to court next month. Pls Nigerians help this poor boy.
