7 months in and lockdown is starting to calcify as it becomes more apparent this is gonna stretch ahead into 2021 so I just wanted to double down on some of the solidarity we expressed back at the start
It’s ok to be unproductive right now. It’ll be obvious when the things your making are worth the do. Give yourself a break. As this shit becomes more regular to us, that comes with a pressure to perform and make a career - but this situation is still nuts. Allow it.
Things won’t come back the same way as before. The immediate benefit of the pandemic will be to further conglomerate this industry, and independents will suffer. But there’s potentially this incredible opportunity to organise and make alternative models.
And let’s keep supporting each other: amplifying new records and buying direct to cut out the need for paying these platforms. There’s no meaningful press covering the small releases but we can reach a lot of people directly, organically, by showing some support 
and typos mean the heart is pure :)
