PSA to kids about learning to draw and write. DRAWING OR WRITING WITHOUT REFERENCE IS A MYTH AND A BLATANT LIE.
I’m not sure where this assumption came from, maybe it’s from our culture of exams where meniru is 'SIN'.

But tracing and copying IS ALLOWED. Tk haram pon. Jgn malu. Jgn takot kena judge. TIRU JE. That’s how you learn! TIRU, TRACE, LEARN FROM MISTAKES. Lama2, you wouldn't need it.

Back in primary school, aku trace WarGreymon. Then I drew him nonstop. Sampai tahap aku dah boleh draw from memory. Sampai tahap, when I try to spontaneously draw, I instinctively draw WarGreymon’s head--almost every time. Lol

Also, when I say tiru, I mean using many, many pictures to draw the subject that you wanna draw. Bkn tiru artwork orng lain sebijik and then claim it your own. That’s a wholleeeeeee different story.

Haih, sedeh aku. This kind of mentality is keeping u from improving your skills. Dah lah it takes a long time to learn how to draw but if u keep concerning yourself with these petty stuff, bila nak improve nye?
