this is just my opinion and based on what I know abt these ships, no hate intended~ all ships are valid!!

wangxian
- hopeless romantics
- u love wholesome tropes like "best friends to lovers" or "oh my god they were roommates"
- u don't understand why ppl wouldn't ship a ship w a canonical happy ending?? why do the rest of u love pain

chengxian
- u either have strong views abt why chengxian isnt incest
- or you consider it incest and fully embrace it
- romance is someone you would die for but also kill with your bare hands
- nothing sexier than "no one except for me is allowed to lay their hands on hin"

zhanchengxian
- u rly love wei ying and just want him to be happy
- AND/OR u rly love jc and just want him to be happy, but u also can't deny the power of wangxian

xiyao
- u love pain and suffering
- happy endings are boring
- if ur not fucking the person u love up for life are u even in love

- same as xiyao AND u are a strong supporter of the "jgy milf agenda"
- sworn brotherhoods as a proxy for throuple marriage
