He said “ Streets lights around the protest ground (lekki toll gate) were turned off, the protester asked for the lights to be turned back on but it wasn’t. All of a sudden Armed military men started shooting towards the protesters from a distance and held their ground cas....

...there were only having a peaceful protest, the protesters went on to raise the Nigerian flag at the military men shooting towards them to show they meant no harm and were only protesting peacefully and then the soldiers started shouting “directly at them” and killed lots of...

....people. The protesters took the bodies of the dead and injured to the military men and the more bodies they took to them the more they keep shooting at them. A while later the Military commander came and asked his men to hold fire, briefly after they started shooting....

.....at the protesters again, he saw atleast 15 people die as he was on the scene. The Army men took away the bodies of the protesters they murdered and took the injured ones to the hospital(apparently).

The military men stopped shooting at them and...

....the police took over the onslaught from the Military men around 2am -3am and started shooting at the protesters too. The DPO of the Police gave his men an order to shoot and kill any protester on sight.

The police pushed the protests back Lekki Phase 1 gate....

Where they were met by another squad of police from Maloko who started shooting at the protesters too.

The reporter asked if it’s the protesters destroying and looting private properties and he replied “No? Thugs were paid and mobilized to destroy properties by the GOVERNMENT”
