This puppy is gifted to me by low time preference. Short thread.

1) I like dogs and wanted to own one for a while. At the same time I have allergic tendencies. I am %100 allergic to birds and cats and allergic to some dogs.

2) This June, I made up my mind and searched for the least allergic dog that could also live in an apartment. Toy poodle it was. I even borrowed Chocolate (a toy poodle3 owned by my local petshop) for 6-8 hours a day to test my allergies.

3) Test was successful and thought I could own one. Choclota was planned to give birth in February 2021 and I could take custody of a baby of hers in April 21. They were going to give me a baby for $1000's.

4) I was against buying animals but my allergic situation really narrowed down my selection and was forced to look for buying option. In the meantime I visited other places/poeple that were selling toy poodle puppies and was given prices around $2000.

5) I decided that it would be the best to keep my #bitcoin and get one in April 21. Last week I decided to visit a shelter in this beach town. People have homes with gardens there and buy dogs for their kids. Some times when they move back to the city they leave the dogs behind.

6)There were nonsuitable dogs in the animal shelter. They were very big in size and most were really aggressive. So I left there without adopting one. 7

7) Last Sunday, I was listening to @tferriss and @naval podcast and it kept me up past my normal sleeping time. I was listening to it and taking notes. At 3:00 am, ran out of cigarettes and left the house to buy some.

8) At the front door there was this puppy with a collar on. He was very scared and I decided to take him in. We spent the last 4 nights together. I am still looking out if he has an owner that is actively looking for him. If so I will sadly give him back.

9) At the same time I am hoping that his owner left him and I get to keep. So far no allergic reactions, he is 8 months old potty trained, very friendly and smart. Low time preference things people, you never know what you can get in the meantime.
