I fucking love the idea of like, a secret agents au where Bucky is in a rival agency from the avengers as the WS but thereâs a big enemy and they need to team up and Steve and the WS are paired together and they do REALLY well so the two agencies keep the pairing going onâ
âdifficult jobs & then they have a lil rivals to lovers arc and the avengers eventually find out and are like ooo who seduced cap, and Steve describes this compassionate, beautiful, funny guy. Then the WS finally meets the avengers and heâs this leather wearing, masked, assassinâ
âbut Steve is grinning at him like a loon (& sure maybe Bucky is hamming it up a bit cuz itâs funny) but theyâre like UHHHHHH but after Steve & Bucky have had their fun playing up the bad boy thing they reveal that Bucky really is a nice guy & they live happily ever after the end
I just love when Steve, who the avengers view as the epitome of buttoned up, morally uptight sunshine, introduces his boyfriend and itâs this leather wearing, knife wielding, mask wearing, stoic, deadpan, silent, sinister, sniper assassin. Itâs just so
