Let me explain briefly why this “research” agenda is very hurtful to Nigerians
People are dying in seconds. Every moment being spent on the front lines is life altering. You deciding that you need to do “research” before using your platform/voice to amplify a movement is elitist mentality
You’re insinuating that you need to be “convinced” that what is happening is actually that drastic and gruesome enough for you to raise awareness one
You are essentially saying that they need to prove to you that it’s worth speaking on.

How do you have a phone in your hand 24/7 and still haven’t educated yourself enough on the topic but if it’s about Cardi B and Offset you do your “research” in seconds
Social media has been a big factor in this movement. It has allowed people to make connections, raise funds, and help several people get aid. So the next time you think it’s pointless to speak because it’s just social media...think again
Hang up that “research” rhetoric...it’s tired and played out. I don’t know what’s so hard to understand about police brutality and an abusive government but y’all got it sha
